hCG Diet Black Bean Quesadillas

Not a lot of us have time to cook amazing dishes and none of us have the time to cook a dish that has a lot of ingredients.

That is because we live in a very busy world and that having time to cook is considered to be a luxury for some.

But, healthy and delicious dishes need not be complicated; heck, you can even create dishes that are incredibly tasty and healthy without a laundry list of ingredients.

So today, I will share with you a recipe for the hCG Diet Black Bean Quesadillas. This dish can only be eaten on phase 3 and above of the hCG diet as it contains a hefty amount of calories.

Even though it contains a high amount of calories, the ingredients that are in this recipe is not only healthy but guaranteed to be tasty as well.

So without further ado, here are all the ingredients that you will need in order to prepare and make the hCG Diet Black Bean Quesadillas:

  • 1/2 cup prepared fresh salsa (see Tip), divided

  • 1 15-ounce can black beans, rinsed

  • 4 8-inch whole-wheat tortillas

  • 2 teaspoons canola oil, divided

  • 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese, preferably pepper Jack (for a bit of a kick)

  • 1 ripe avocado, diced

Directions:

  1. Get a medium-sized bowl and then combine the cheese, beans, and 1/4 cup salsa. Make sure to mix them well for the best flavor possible.

  2. Next, get a nice and dry working surface and place the tortillas on it.

  3. Then, slowly spread the filling on the 1/2 side of the tortilla and then hold them gently so as to not spill the filling. Once it is folded, press it gently to make sure that it is flattened.

  4. Next, get a large non-stick frying pan and put it over medium heat. Heat 1 teaspoon of oil and then place 2 quesadillas at a time.

  5. Turn them once and make sure that either of the sides is already golden brown. It usually takes anywhere between 2-4 minutes.

  6. Next, get a chopping or cutting board and then put an aluminum foil over it. Let the tortillas rest there.

  7. Then, get a plate, place the quesadillas, and then serve it with the avocado and the remainder of the salsa you've done earlier. Serve and Enjoy!
